How did I not know there was a National Cream Tea Day! This is BIG news in my world. This year, The National Cream Tea Society are encouraging us to join along at home on 25 June 2021; they are even providing free cream tea-themed zoom backgrounds.
We at Simons thought we'd like to celebrate too and share a scone recipe from fellow Essex-based firm, Tiptree Jams (Wilkin & Sons), whose instantly recognisable labels can now be seen in tearooms and coffee shops around the world.
